Dr. Donahue is a board-certified physician with over 25 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in emergency medicine, serving as chief resident. For the past two decades, he has been a distinguished member of the core faculty at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, committed to delivering exceptional medical care to all his patients. Throughout his career, he has been consistently recognized by both nursing staff and colleagues for his professionalism, approachability, and collaborative spirit.
Throughout his career, Dr. Donahue has held a strong passion for medical education, having trained many of Chicagoland’s most promising emergency and family medicine resident physicians. He now brings that same dedication and enthusiasm to his individualized patient care.
His clinical interests focus on metabolic and cardiovascular dysfunction and their direct impact on both healthspan and lifespan. He firmly believes that training at all ages is a foundational strategy for combating these chronic conditions. Dr. Donahue is also deeply committed to being highly accessible to his patients, with the goal of preventing unnecessary emergency room visits through proactive, responsive care.
